Captain LaCour is a native of Louisiana and has fly fished throughout the United States on fresh and saltwater. His clients have stalked the shallows to catch numerous redfish over eight pounds on fly rods and light spinning tackle and have done so while watching
herons stalk their own prey in the same shallows within casting and camera range.
Captain LaCour is a published contributor to numerous magazines and wrote the “Barataria Bay Estuary” chapter in the book, “Saltwater Fly fishing from Maine to Texas”. Captain LaCour is a member of the IGFA, FFF, is a Certified FFF Casting Instructor and does seminars throughout the United States on fly fishing for red fish, fly fishing Louisiana, Combat Fly Casting and salt water fly tying.
Non fly fishers need not worry, light tackle is a valued option and always available.
